Welcome to Calvary Customs. These Terms & Conditions ("Terms") govern your purchase of products and services from Calvary Customs ("we," "us," or "our"). By placing an order, paying a deposit, or using our website, you agree to be bound by these Terms.

1. Nature of Handcrafted Goods

A. Wood Variance: You acknowledge that wood is a natural material. Variations in grain, texture, color, and knots are inherent characteristics of the material and are not considered defects. These variations ensure that every piece we create is unique. The final product may differ slightly from photographs or samples due to these natural inconsistencies.

B. Laser Cutting & Engraving: Laser cutting involves burning wood. Slight charring on edges or variations in the depth of engraving are normal parts of the production process and contribute to the aesthetic of the piece.

2. Orders and Deposits

A. 2026 Production Slots

To manage workflow and material acquisition, we accept deposits to secure production slots for the 2026 season. By paying a deposit, you are reserving time in our production schedule.

B. Deposit Refund Policy

- Refundable Period: Deposits are fully refundable if requested in writing within 14 days of payment, provided no design work or material purchasing has begun.

- Non-Refundable: After 14 days, or once we have purchased materials or begun the design/prototyping phase for your order, deposits become non-refundable.

C. Final Payment The remaining balance of your order is due upon completion of production, prior to shipping. We reserve the right to withhold shipment until full payment has been received.

3. Design Approval Process

A. Digital Proofs Before production begins, we will provide you with a digital proof/mockup of your custom award (including spelling, dates, logos, and layout).

B. Client Responsibility It is your responsibility to review these proofs carefully. Your written approval (via email) serves as the final authorization to proceed. Calvary Customs is not responsible for errors (such as typos or incorrect dates) that existed in the approved proofs.

C. Changes After Approval Any changes requested after the proof has been approved and production has started will incur additional labor and material costs.

4. Shipping and Delivery

A. Shipping We ship Canada-wide using reputable third-party carriers. While we strive to meet all tournament deadlines, we are not liable for delays caused by the shipping carrier, weather, or acts of nature.

B. Damage in Transit We package our items securely. However, if your order arrives damaged, you must notify us within 48 hours of delivery and provide clear photographs of the damage and the packaging. We will work with you to file a claim with the carrier and arrange for a repair or replacement.

5. Returns and Refunds

A. Custom Items Due to the bespoke nature of our products (customized with club logos, names, dates, etc.), all sales are final. We do not accept returns or exchanges on custom-made items unless there is a manufacturing defect or an error on our part that differs from the approved proof.

6. Intellectual Property

A. Your Logos By submitting a club crest, logo, or trademark to us, you represent that you have the authority to use that image. You grant Calvary Customs a limited license to use these images solely for the purpose of creating your order.

B. Our Designs The structural designs, templates, and artistic layouts created by Calvary Customs remain our intellectual property. We reserve the right to photograph finished products for use in our marketing and gallery, unless you specifically request otherwise in writing.

7. Limitation of Liability

In no event shall Calvary Customs or Brad Milligan be liable for any indirect, special, incidental, or consequential damages arising out of the use or inability to use our products. Our maximum liability shall not exceed the total amount paid by you for the specific product at issue.

8. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Province of Ontario and the federal laws of Canada applicable therein.
